In November Florida’s senior senator, Democrat Bill Nelson, will be seeking his third term in Washington. During his current term, Nelson has rejected the Keystone Pipeline and religious exemptions for the recent birth control insurance mandates. Nelson has supported the continuation of ethanol subsidies, the stimulus plan, and Obamacare. In another example of how Nelson is not serving Floridians, but liberal special interests, he openly opposed efforts to verify Florida’s voter roll and remove ineligible non-citizen from the roll. Nelson has consistently voted to undermine economic prosperity and constitutional liberty. Florida needs to send another solid conservative to Washington to join Marco Rubio in the work of restoring order and liberty.
