Why am I running for Treasurer?I am running because the Office of Treasurer of RPOF is an important one that demands both accountability and competence. Statewide Republican voters must have confidence in the financial management of the Republican Party. Our donors as well as volunteers must know that our organization runs on sound accounting principles and strict oversight. The past four years have been anything but accountable. However, with the victories of the recent election Florida Republicans demand our continued efforts to be good stewards of the money donated to the GOP. As an attorney with 21 years experience representing business and corporate clients, I believe that my background uniquely qualifies me to serve in this capacity. Having successfully served as the Chief Executive Officer of a 120 employee company with $ 10 million in annual operating revenue and my more than 32 years of experience volunteering for Republican causes and candidates in Florida, I understand the challenges this party faces and have a proven track record of facing similar challenges head on. These attributes and experiences provide me with the level of expertise necessary to be an effective and successful Treasurer for our Party. My commitment to you is that I will be an involved Treasurer who will ask the right questions and provide oversight to RPOF operations. I worked my way up through the grassroots ever since I volunteered for my first campaign at age 14. As such, I feel a special dedication to the task of keeping accountability as a top priority and informing you as a member of the State Executive Committee of our Party’s financial condition. Accountability and integrity must be the touchstone of anyone who offers themselves for the position of Treasurer.
