Why Should You Request A “Vote By Mail” (Absentee) Ballot?

• It will save you time and effort in the future.If you fill out the attached form, you will automatically receive a “Vote By Mail” Ballot for every election (local, state, federal) that you are eligible to vote in from right now until December 31, 2014.
• Receiving a “Vote By Mail” Ballot serves as a nice, automatic reminder that an election is approaching.It’s easy to miss some of the local race elections. Having a ballot automatically sent to your home helps give you advance notice of an election.
• A “Vote By Mail” Ballot will help prevent a last minute scramble.Lets say you end up planning a last minute out-of-town trip and then you find out that there is an election during that trip. A “Vote By Mail” Ballot will allow you to cast your vote, toss it in your mailbox and go on with your vacation without worry about making it to your voting location on Election Day.
• Avoid the lines & avoid running into that nagging neighbor at your local polling location.If you receive a “Vote By Mail” Ballot, you can vote from your couch.
