Paul Ledford is a longtime friend. Back in the 1980’s, we served as officers in the Tallahassee Young Republicans. We worked hard then for local candidates. Eventually, Paul would be elected Chairman of the Leon County Republican Executive Committee and help advocate the conservative message well into the 1990’s. A true Patriot he is.
Jeff Howell has been my friend for 28 years, and during that time he has been a steadfast supporter of conservative values in the Republican Party. When I served several terms as Chair of the Leon County Republican Executive Committee in the 1980s, Jeff was a valued confidant and supporter of mine. His heartfelt commitment to conservative principles, and the ethical and transparent operation of the Republican Party of Florida are key reasons to re-elect Jeff Howell as our State Committeeman in Leon County. He has been active and engaged in the local GOP for close to three decades! I am voting for him, and hope you will do the same.

Ade Aderibigbe is one of the committed individuals I have had the privilege to work with in the State Party. I am proud of and grateful for his support.
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Ade Aderibigbe. I serve as the first elected African American to the executive board of the Republican Party of Florida, as Assistant Treasurer.
This accomplishment became a reality through the encouragement and counsel, I received from Jeff, while serving together as board members. I believe Leon County needs the continual leadership of State Committeeman Jeffrey Howell. I’m proud to endorse Jeff for re-election and kindly ask that you support and vote for him on August 14th!

Evan Power is a good friend who has worked in Florida politics for many years. I really appreciate his perspective on how the Leon County Republican Party has changed over the last four years:
For many years I attended the Republican Executive Committee meetings off and on, but I never joined the committee because they viewed themselves more as a social club not a political party. A few years ago Jeff Howell asked me to give the REC another chance, and I joined with the goal of turning the Leon County Republican Party into a real party.
Two years ago, I was elected Vice-Chairman and I have worked with Jeff Howell, Cynthia Henderson, and Bradley Maxwell to grow and develop the Party. Since that time we have increased fundraising, had successful fundraising events with Governor Rick Scott, Speaker Dean Cannon, and shortly Rick Perry. We have led a successful campaign to increase voter turnout through generating Absentee Ballots. Currently we have significantly narrowed the usual gap between Republican and Democrat Absentee voting. We have brought in younger fresher blood to the committee including young professionals and college republicans who are the future of our party. This has just been Jeff’s work with the Leon County Party.
Jeff Howell has also served admirably on the State Executive Committee. He has helped to clean up the party after the Jim Greer era and authored the new ethics code. He was also elected two years ago to serve as the Treasurer of the Republican Party of Florida. His service in these roles has been a great benefit to the Leon County Republican Party.
You cannot build a party over night, but we have all worked hard to move the party from a dinner club to a political party that is starting to make a mark in the community. We need to continue this hard work by Re-electing Jeff Howell as our State Committeeman. His hard work and fundraising will continue to serve this Party well. I whole-heartedly endorse Jeff Howell and hope you will join me in thanking him for his service to our party by voting to keep him as our State Committeeman.
A week from tomorrow is Election Day, but all over Leon County voters are already casting their ballots. Absentee ballots have been rolling out from the Supervisor of Elections since July. Early voting began Saturday. The election is here.
When I ran for election four years ago, a ragtag group of friends helped me get the message out to voters that I intended to get the GOP “back on track.” After nearly four years as State Committeeman, I have more help than I did the first time. More people are getting the message out that we need to “keep the GOP on the Right Track.”
The last four years have been fruitful. More people are involved in the local GOP, and the GOP is more active in local races. I have been privileged to participate in making RPOF more accountable to Republicans throughout the state.
In a week, the election will be over. Your friends, neighbors, fellow churchgoers may not even know what a state committeeman is. Take to your e-mail, Facebook, and Twitter. Let them know that their State Committeeman represents them, and that I will persevere on their behalf. Please help me continue on my work for Leon County’s Republicans.

MittRomney.com has a list of practical ways you can help in these last 100 days leading up to the 2012 Election.
After August 14th, we have a great task ahead. In this time of choosing, we need to connect with other voters and make the case for Republican candidates. State and local GOP leadership needs to drive this participation. As State Committeeman, I’ve worked hard to get as many Republican voters involved as possible. The decisions made on and before August 14th will resonate on November 6th. That’s why I’m asking for your support in re-electing me Leon County Republican State Committeeman.

I am humbled to announce that Marion Hammer has endorsed me for re-election as Leon County Republican State Committeeman. Marion and I met when I was an undergraduate at Florida State University, and I have had the privilege of her friendship for many years. Those who know Marion know how she values and embodies integrity. Jeb Bush has said of Marion, “When she says it, you know she means it, and you know her word is golden.” I am honored to accept the endorsement of Marion Hammer.
I met Jeff almost 30 years ago when he had a full head of hair and was working his heart out for conservative causes. He hasn’t stopped — and won’t stop working for what’s right.
